Brae, berry-picking and Black Angus beef.

Ready to loosen your belt a few notches? Bluestone Fields is sat right along the Otways Harvest Trail. When you’re surrounded by such exceptional local produce, a gourmet adventure has got to be on the cards.

Brae Restaurant

4285 Cape Otway Rd, Birregurra, Vic (10 minutes drive)

Consistently recognised as one of the World’s Best 50 restaurants, dining at Brae will be etched in your memory forever. There’s no better way to immerse yourself in the local landscape than this exceptional 12-course degustation experience.

As a working organic farm, Brae lives and breathes the farm-to-table cooking concept. Before you dine, make sure to stroll around the kitchen garden to reveal just how much attention-to-detail goes into each dish. Planting, growing, preparing and plating of every single seasonal morsel is all expertly considered.

Yet despite the technical excellence, Brae has a leisurely, comforting atmosphere which means dinner there feels more like being invited over to a country house than one of the world’s most enviable restaurants.

Just 10 minutes away, Bluestone Fields is the ideal Brae Restaurant accommodation for an experience you’ll never forget.

Gentle Annie Berry Farm

520 Pennyroyal Valley Road, Pennyroyal, Vic (5 minutes drive)

If luscious berries plucked straight from the vine don’t entice you, the stunning views will. Gentle Annie is a rustic delight and a favourite pit-stop of ours whether we want to sit for a drink in the sunshine, grab an ice-cream on the run, stock up on local veggies and chutneys for dinner, or, give the ‘head chef’ a night off with some takeaway pizzas.

Why not join them for their 2024 Summer BBQ from 5pm onwards every Friday evening!

The Store at Dean’s Marsh

1419 Birregurra-Deans Marsh Rd, Deans Marsh, Vic (5 minutes drive)

A General Store that ticks all the boxes. With its quaint country-tuck-shop aesthetic, the Store has a wonderful homely feel as soon as you set eyes on it. And that’s before you’ve even tried the proper home-cooked breakfast. Brunch here is a must, as is picking up a pie to munch on the patio once you’re home to Bluestone Fields.

Foothills Organic Vegetables

80 Oakleys Road, Yeo, Vic

These organic veggies are as fresh as you can possibly get. The farm gate honesty stall is always packed full of the very finest and tastiest veg, eggs and dairy produce. This family have farmed organically since 1994, with knowledge passed down over 70 years from father to son. Serve up these veggies, and suddenly they become the star of the show.

Maluka Estate

45 Old Lorne Road, Dean’s Marsh, Vic

The place to stock up on locally grown olive oil and honey. This olive grove is as boutique as they come. All the extra virgin olive oil is harvested with the help of friends and family. But after winning more awards than we can count, Maluka Estate is justifiably proud of the true cool-climate character, harmony, and intensity of their produce.

Mount Moriac Beef

Moriac General Store, 561 Cape Otway Road, Moriac, Vic

Grass-fed Black Angus beef reared on our surf coast hinterlands. Stocked at the Moriac General Store, we’d suggest ordering ahead if there’s something particular you’ve got in mind. We can definitely recommend a New York Rib Eye steak on the Bluestone Fields BBQ.

Otway Artisan Gluten Free

77 Main St Birregurra, Victoria

Gluten free bakedhouse dedicated to the production of the finest handmade Gluten free bread products. Located in the beautiful little town of Birregurra. Even if you don’t have a gluten free diet, there is something for everyone here!
